Description

Our handcrafted Cornwall Map oak signs are perfect for house name plaques, house numbers, front door signs, garden gates and businesses.

Each high quality oak sign is made to order in our workshop in Cornwall. They are suitable for both internal and external use.

The signs are made from sustainably sourced European Oak from high quality sawmills in France, which is all FSC Certified. The timber we use has been kiln-dried and stored in a heat and humidity controlled premises to ensure it stays in premium condition.

As this is a natural product there will be some variations in the colour of the wood. Over time the colour will also gradually change to a more silvery hue.

 

 

Materials

Each high quality piece is handcrafted from solid oak and is made to order in our workshop in Cornwall.

All of the oak we use is FSC certified and sourced from local, sustainable suppliers.

As this is a natural product there will be some variations in the colour and grain of the wood. We treat each piece with a high quality wood preserving oil.

The outline maps are approximately 20mm thick and are available in a range of sizes to suit the place you are going to locate them.

 

Size

The sizes available in this listing are :-

Small – approximately 225mm x 210mm
Medium – approximately 450mm x 250mm
Large – approximately 650mm x 375mm

 

Finish

The maps  are treated with a high quality preserving wood oil, have screwholes drilled in them and come with a fixing pack so they are ready to put up.

We offer the signs either oiled, or with black painted letters.

We have partnered with Just One Tree to plant a tree whenever we sell a product. More information about their projects can be found at justonetree.life

Our latest tooling means that we can carefully position each of our orders onto each piece of oak we use, to get the maximum amount of products and the minimum amount of waste.

Order Process

2. Select the font for your engraving

3. Enter the text for your engraving

4. Your item will be handmade to order, so please allow 7 working days for it to be dispatched

5. Once ready, your item will be posted via a tracked method and the tracking uploaded to your order so you can track your delivery
